Our Story
True North Diner is a bright, clean 1950's style diner operated by Jim & Carol Macaulay who are no strangers to the restaurant business. Our philosophy is that you deserve the best so we prepare all our home-style meals with fresh ingredients and we try to buy locally whenever possible. For example, all of our haddock is caught in local waters; our hamburger buns are made especially for us in a local bakery; and our fries are fresh cut from Maritime potatoes right in our kitchen. We have a full time baker who is fast becoming famous for fabulous pies and other goodies. We even use biodegradable take out containers that can go in your green bin.
